On April 28, the pipeline Design Institute and Tsinghua University successfully completed the water pressure blasting test and stress test of D1422×1219 X80 three-way in low temperature environment (-45℃) in Bohai Oil Equipment Manufacturing Co., LTD., Qingxian County, Hebei Province, which marked the success of the development of low temperature, high pressure and large caliber (D1422) three-way. It is our country another significant breakthrough in the field of such pipe fittings. The product will be applied to the construction of the East line natural gas pipeline project between China and Russia, laying a foundation for the pipeline construction in the cold region in the future. The China-Russia Eastern Route (Heilongjiang-Long section) passes through cold regions such as Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces, with an extreme minimum temperature of -48.1℃. Due to the cold and long winter, if the station pipes take heat preservation and tracing measures, not only the energy consumption is high, but also the inspection and maintenance workload is heavy. Therefore, the design temperature of the station pipe fittings can reach -45℃ by adopting the non-heat preservation and tracing technology scheme. At present, the domestic pipe fitting (tee) products can not cover -45℃, which can not meet the construction needs of China and Russia east route, and foreign X80 pipe fitting has not been successfully applied in this design temperature precedent. In 2016, the group established a research group, and the pipeline Design Institute jointly carried out the joint stock company project of "Research and Development of D1422×1219 X80 three-way links for the low temperature environment (-45℃) of China-Russia Eastern Railway station", focusing on the research and development of D1422×1219 X80 three-way products.
The research results of this project provide technical and material support for the smooth implementation of the China-Russia East Route natural gas pipeline project, and enhance the Group's innovation ability in the field of low temperature, high pressure and large caliber pipeline construction.
